About Northern Roots Therapy Center...
Northern Roots Therapy Center was established to provide an accepting and supportive environment for all individuals in our community. We firmly and passionately believe that every individual who seeks out therapy should be met with kindness and respect, and our staff aims to forge a relationship that feels truly safe. In the therapeutic process, we encourage open conversations between clients and therapists around identity, with attention to how our experiences are informed by our race, gender, sexuality, ability, and other aspects of culture. Our world and the context we live in is ever-changing. With this in mind, we actively seek opportunities to enhance our perspectives and skillsets to meet the needs of a diverse community through in-service trainings and community-centered collaboration. We are proud to welcome individuals of all backgrounds, all genders, and all members of the LGBTQIA2s+ community.
NRTC is proudly Trans and Non-binary allied and supportive.

How are you doing? Really doing?
Together, let’s explore ways to lessen those big emotions and understand yourself better.
With my training in Solution-Focused and Experiential Therapies, along with skills in CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, and Anger-Management and Breaking Codependent Thought Patterns, I have been a guide for many families, couples, and individuals of all sorts of different backgrounds, cultures, sexualities, abilities and creeds.
As your Marriage and Family Therapist, I am able to see all of the systems in your life at play, and I will help you make your way through the storm to find your rainbows.
Prior to becoming a Therapist, I was a life coach, parental assistant, play therapist, and teacher. I have trained as an Actor, Teaching Artist, and most recently an Intimacy Coordinator, bringing elements of creativity and experiential learning to the therapy room.
I come from the perspective that "it's all connected", using a mind, body, and spirit approach. Together we will pass through the more difficult times with grace and dignity and focus on a positive sense of self and recovery.
I also do family and couple work with those struggling with past trauma, infidelity, trust, affected-family members, suicidality, preparation of commitment, and next-step family planning. I promise to bring a sense of genuine love to every session.
Look forward to connecting!
