About Northern Roots Therapy Center
Northern Roots Therapy Center was established to provide an accepting and supportive environment for all individuals in our community. We firmly and passionately believe that every individual who seeks out therapy should be met with kindness and respect, and our staff aim to forge a relationship that feels truly safe. In the therapeutic process, we encourage open conversations between clients and therapists around identity, with attention to how our experiences are informed by our race, gender, sexuality, ability, and other aspects of culture. Our world and the context we live in is ever-changing. With this in mind, we actively seek opportunities to enhance our perspectives and skill sets to meet the needs of a diverse community through in-service trainings and community-centered collaboration. We are proud to welcome individuals of all backgrounds, all genders, and all members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Who We Help.....
We provide support and therapy to individuals, couples, and families of ALL ages and backgrounds. This includes children, teenagers, adults, and individuals in the later stages of life.
We are currently in the process of offering virtual therapy sessions as well as in-person therapy sessions to promote and encourage social distancing. This is left of to each therapists discretion and client preference. Our providers have been specifically trained and focused on this module change so that they can offer their clients the best services possible while being able to work together online and/or in-person.
